Giving the gift of pictures (or something photo related) is always a WIN! Family and friends cherish you and love to look back at the precious memories you've made over the year.....as well as enjoy making their own displays! Now THIS year those memories might look quite different than in the past but there are none the less special. And in reality, we all might have learned to hold the little things a little more dear to our hearts.
So who needs a last minute gift idea or something for someone who has everything?
Consider a Skylight Picture Frame... I think these are PERFECT for Grandparents (especially for those who do not live near their family), or maybe your cutie who is off at college! This particular frame is managed using your phone! Multiple family members can add to the frame simply by emailing or by their smartphone. Google photos, Dropbox, Facebook and Instagram are all supported! And I particularly love there is a motion sensor as well!
This particular photo display is VERY popular with the tweens and teens! My daughter has these Photo Clip String Lights above her bed and LOVES them! You can hang them in so many different ways and the clips can hold little pictures! She has pics up of her friends, family and from fun events she attended. The lights can change color and work off a remote.
- To go along with the string lights.... if you want to add to the gift you can get an Fujifilm Instax Instant Camera. It prints out the most adorable mini polaroid pics! And the pics are the perfect size for the clip lights.
Another fun gadget we love in our house is the HP Sprocket Portable 2x3" Instant Photo Printer . Easily print your favorite adventures on 2x3" sticky-backed photo paper (you can make stickers!)... connect to your phone or ipad via bluetooth and you are ready to go. My daughter loves this for her photo clips, as well as for other fun crafts and projects she likes to make. I've used it multiple times to print out a quick photo for school projects and such.
In our kitchen, we have the Echo Show 5 which among all the other skills can put your memories on display - Use Amazon Photos & Alexa for a picture-perfect pairing. You can turn your home screen into a digital frame, share your favorites with friends and family, and even take photos.
Do you know someone in your life who loves to take photos with their smart phone!? Nowadays the newest phones can take AMAZING images! This Cell Phone Camera Lens Kit is so fun and perfect for the mobile photographer! Could be a perfect little stocking stuffer too! This particular gift is on MY wishlist!
The Atrium Acrylic Blocks from MyPhoto are absolutely GORGEOUS! Such a simple piece.... and a beautiful alternative to the traditional frame. Gift these to the grandparents, or purchase as a gift for yourself!
Who has hopped on the Farmhouse trend? I think the style is absolutely beautiful! So it's no surprise that I LOVE these Round Farmhouse Ornament Frames. You can put them up on your tree and/or hang them around the house all year long! *Please note that I have limited quantities.
Some of my favorite sites to create photo gifts are:
- Shutterfly/Tinyprints Plus I love to make a photo ornament every year from the pictures I use for our Christmas cards. There are also mousepads, metal ornaments, mugs and more.... but I think THIS is the best product to say GOODBYE to 2020!!!
- PinHolePress They have some great, unique gifts that you wont find on most photo sites. I think THIS and THIS are such cute gift ideas for a young child.
- Minted is where I often order my own Christmas cards through... they have beautiful designs and are very high quality! They also have fun custom puzzles you can make (which hopefully we won't need as much in 2021 but you never know!)
And of course, I'd be remiss if I did not mention the gift of photography! I offer gift certificates in any denomination.... consider gifting friends or family with a photo session for the upcoming year.
Tell me, what have been some of your favorite photo related gifts that you have either given or received?
